Running Wild is the autobiography of Dr. Philip D. Derber from birth to receiving Jesus as Savior and Lord. He gave his life to the Lord at an early age but drifted away by the time he was fifteen. The next fourteen years of his life were filled with drugs, alcohol, perverted sex, trouble with the law, and narrowly escaping death many times. In these pages, you will see how the devil targeted Dr. Derber at an early age to bring him into bondage and to completely distract him from the call of God that was on his life. But best of all, you will see how, in a moment of time, God delivered him out of all of the bondage that the devil had kept him in for all those years. Read these pages and allow God to make Himself real to you!!!

For Lilly and her mother, going to Indonesia isn't just another holiday. It's an escape and a new start. But when Will takes a gentle ride along the beach on an elephant called Oona, calamity strikes. As a tsunami comes crashing towards them, Oona charges deep into the jungle, her young rider desperately clinging on. Miles from civilisation, there's wonder, discovery and treetop adventures among the orang-utans. But then as Lilly's thoughts turn to his mother left behind on the beach, tigers prowl, hunger hits, and she must learn to survive the rainforest. Samuel Adamson's adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's novel Running Wild was premiered by the Chichester Festival Youth Theatre in 2015. It received its professional premiere in May 2016, in a Regent's Park Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre co-production. Carlin Reed lives in fear, off the grid, moving from place to place. So Battle Ridge, Wyoming, a small town in the middle of nowhere, seems like a good place to lie low for a while. But after becoming cook and housekeeper to cattle rancher Zeke Decker, Carlin suspects that she's made her first mistake. Rugged, sexy, and too distracting for his own good, Zeke is pure temptation mixed with something deep and primal that makes Carlin feel almost safe. Soon things are getting way too hot in the kitchen. Zeke doesn't challenge Carlin's terms: cash, dead bolts, and no questions. It is easy to see that she's a woman in trouble. Problem is, he's so blindsided by his attraction to her he can't think straight. Zeke tries to stay all business, no complications - but that game plan is sabotaged the second Carlin gets under his skin. And when her terrifying past follows her to the ranch, Carlin faces a heartbreaking choice: run away from the man she loves, or put him in the crosshairs of a madman.

She also knows her father will never agree to leave. It's not so bad living a dog's life. Unless you're a cat. Most times, hanging out with Rotten Willy (the huge dog on the cover) was cool. We played chase, talked, and chowed down on spaghetti and meatballs at Luigi's restaurant. Even though he was a dog (and sometimes called me Upchuck instead of Chuck), I could handle it. He was my best friend. Then this baseball stuff started and Willy went bonkers. I never saw him act so crazy. On top of that, these two new cats moved into our neighborhood. Trouble was, tough-guy Roscoe and his cute fuzzy sister, Rikki, did not like dogs. Dogs belong with dogs and cats belong with cats, they said. I was showing them the sights when I suddenly spied the dogcatcher, just waiting to trap Willy as he raced across the field with a baseball in his mouth. But Roscoe and Rikki would never understand if they found out my best friend was a dog. How could I save Willy before it was too late? What's a cat to do when he has to choose between old friends and new -- and there's no time to lose...

Running Wild: More Than Scars uses the analogy of an endurance event to depict the full scope of a cancer journey. An endurance event has a training phase, race, and recovery phase. Facing a cancer diagnosis and moving through it follows the same pattern. Katherine Friese conveys her personal experiences to offer hope and encouragement. She demonstrates life’s ability to equip us with tools to face our challenges. She shows that a cancer diagnosis reveals strength of character and the possibility of building back stronger than before. Running Wild: More Than Scars will be relatable not only to the cancer surviver and caregivers, but to anyone needing to know they can face challenges and thrive because of them.

Joseph Green was born during the Great Depression and grew up in the segregated South, in a tiny little town in Northwest Florida. He joined The Boeing Company in 1959, then five years later accepted a job at the Kennedy Space Center, where he worked for 31 years. He served for six years as document specialist and member of the launch team on the Atlas-Centaur program. He supported the Apollo Program from beginning to end, including (with then-wife Juanita) providing pre-launch parties for the science fiction community on all moon landing missions. He also supported the Space Shuttle program from its beginning until he retired from NASA (as Deputy Chief, Education Office) at the end of 1996. At NASA one specialty of Joseph Green was preparing fact sheets, brochures, and other semi-technical publications for the general public, explaining complex scientific and engineering concepts in layman’s language. He wrote over 20 science papers for NASA and contractor executives. As a part-time freelancer, he published five novels and about 90 short works, the latter primarily in Analog, The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, and original anthologies. This volume selects the cream of his short fiction and features new introduction to all of the stories. A great volume for fans of classic science fiction!
